Can Amitabh Do It ?

A.B. had to just say it and there is a wave of excitement among the people of Pakistan. Writing in his blog on December 30, Bachchan said that it was time for India and Pakistan to come together again in a genuine attempt to build bridges which can never be shaken up by any enemies of the two countries. He further added in his blog that he is willing to do whatever he was capable of doing in his capacity to bring the people of the two countries together. Reacting to his gesture, Fakhr Alam and Ali Azmat, two leading celebrities from the world of entertainment in Pakistan said that Bachchan's statement was like a New Year's gift to the common people of Pakistan who have been 'adoring him for the last thirty years.' They said Amitabh could do what no politician could ever do or would like to do for their own political ends, but the people who see Amitabh's films regularly believe that the move made by him could change the atmosphere in Pakistan.
